Wine is like a food, it offers us an exciting and unlimited spectrum of flavors. At Martin Ray Winery, we enjoy exploring different flavor combinations, finding how best to blend our wines with other foods to obtain maximum flavors. Wine also softens strong flavors and pulls out other, more delicate tastes. For instance, a soft fruity Pinot Noir would be lost in a heavy, spicy winter stew, but a big hearty Cabernet Sauvignon would calm and blend superbly.
